the importance of friendship

i had a short but good conversation with freakboy tonight. the topic doesn't really matter. but it just got me thinking how much i really miss having conversations with him. it's been so long. we used to talk frequently. about stupid stuff. about important stuff. about our relationships. i think we both stopped and thought about how really gratefull we are to have each other's friendship. things have always been so easy between us. we understand each other and can speak fluently together. i just hope someday we'll be able to be as close as we used to be again. we've just grown apart a little. he's been so busy with school and his now-ex and i've been so busy with a fucked up work schedule and amadeo.
i think my resolution for the coming new year (of my diaryland diary) will be to become much closer to my friends (instead of amadeo's friends), most notibly freakboy, bj, and fizzban.
