the quest for my amadeo

how many times should you try before you give up?
i've tried twice now to ensnare amadeo. there are times when he seems so interested. but then, at the same time, either completely not or just timid. he's so hard to read. i drove by campus, just on the off chance he was in his room. i should have figured he wasn't. he's somewhere out on the town with his bandmates. he never showed up last night at mori's party for the second time.
i don't know what to make of the situation. as i just mentioned, he's so hard to read, so i'm not sure whether or not i should chase after him. then there's his disappearing and nor showing up to things i've invited him to. he did come to my gig at the end of last month, but i don't think he came just to see me.
then there's the fact i'm not overly in love with him or anything. i just want to date him -- that's all. should i really chase after a person that i'm just sorta-kinda interested in? not to mention i'm still lusting after someone else...
wow. what a jumble of thoughts that was.
i think i'll try one more time to capture my angel, amadeo.
