i have to wonder if i ruin myself on purpose or if i'm just a total idiot.
but anyway
i see myself lying
on a bed of rose petals
blood red
silken velvet
touch my cheek
bury myself in them
dig deep
enfold me in them
come find me in them
come to me in them
join me in them
pull them out of my hair
a petal to my lips
my lips a petal to your cheek
